A well written Regimental History covering the Second World War. The Gordon’s fought with valour in France in 1940 when they were trapped with the majority of the division forced to surrender. The 2nd Div. fought in the battle for Singapore in 1942. They saw heavy fighting in Normandy and the Netherlands and in the Battle of Uelzen in Germany.
